Settle Youth Club
A group for secondary-age young people where they can build independence skills, make new friends and increase aspirations whilst having loads of fun.
Settle Youth gives young people the chance to: • Plan and lead social action projects in their local area • Work together to solve problems and make improvements in the community • Build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills • Take part in creative and practical projects, such as awareness campaigns, community events, or fundraising activities • Connect with peers and develop a sense of belonging The group is young-person-led, giving participants the opportunity to see their ideas come to life, feel proud of the difference they make, and learn new skills along the way. This half-term the group will be taking part in This is Our Craven - a collaborative project bringing together local partners, communities, and creatives to celebrate what makes Craven special. Together, we’ll explore our museums, landscapes, and the things that matter most to young people through a series of fun and engaging creative sessions. Their ideas and contributions will inspire activities ranging from hands-on workshops to new artistic explorations. Meeting at The Folly in Settle from 3:30pm.
