Disabled clubs

SELFA has recently launched SELFA Sounds with the help of North Yorkshire Music.

SELFA Sounds is an after-school music therapy group for children with multiple and profound disabilities. This group has a particular focus on drumming to increase happiness, well-being and encourage the development of motor coordination. The children will also have the opportunity to play musical instruments, hear music of different genres and do lots of singing!

There are limited places for this club and therefore the places will be altered on a termly basis, depending on the demand.

We do not have the capacity to provide individual support for the club. The children and young people that attend must do so with a parent or carer.

Held at Brooklands School on Thursdays from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
