£4080 raised on Wear Red For SELFA

Schools, shops, offices, nursing homes and just about everyone in Craven wore something red on Friday 14th February to join in with our annual fundraiser.

28 different organisations all over Craven (and some further afield) all took part in ‘Wear Red For SELFA’ and helped to raise just over £4080. The majority of people donated £1 each and wore something red whether it was their full outfit or as simple as their socks. A few organisations chose different ways to raise money for SELFA including CPOMS who held a raffle, Greatwood Primary School who held a sponsored race and us (SELFA) who,as well as wearing red, held a tombola on Skipton High Street and did some bag-packing at Skipton Tesco.

We set ourselves a target to double last year’s Wear Red For SELFA total which was just over £1300 so we are absolutely thrilled at the incredible amount that everybody has managed to raise!

Thank you and well done!
