Celebrating Fundraising Success
Local children’s charity, SELFA, are celebrating a two-year fundraising partnership with Bowman Riley, a firm of architects, building consultants and interior designers based in Skipton. Since 2017 Bowman Riley have raised £7,432 for the charity which supports children throughout Craven. As well as running the length of the Leeds-Liverpool canal in three days, Bowman Riley staff also ran the Manchester half-marathon and rowed across Lake Windermere during the two-year partnership.
Emma Pears, SELFA’s Chief Officer, said:
“The support we’ve received from Bowman Riley over the last two years has been amazing. Their staff have gone above and beyond to support SELFA and we are so grateful.”
Kara Thorpe, Bowman Riley said:
“We are proud of our partnership with SELFA over the past two years. We asked our team to vote for the charity they felt the most affinity with and SELFA was chosen. It’s great to support a charity that is so close to our head office. Our staff enjoy giving back to the local community and many took the opportunity take part in a day’s paid voluntary work supporting SELFA”.
